Five members of the Jordan Fire Department participated in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Big Climb fundraiser Saturday morning, raising $2,600 to support blood cancer research and patient services.
The team — Jeremy Goebel, Dave Johnson, Brian Anderson, Eric Olson, and Nate Hovey — took on the challenge by climbing over 1,800 steps in the lower bowl of U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. To make the climb even more demanding, they completed it while wearing full firefighting gear and packs, showcasing both their strength and dedication to the cause.
The Big Climb is an annual event that brings together thousands of participants to climb stairs in honor of those battling blood cancers. Funds raised directly support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s mission to find cures and improve the quality of life for patients.
