The Shakopee Police Department is holding it’s annual Diaper Drive thru Friday, February 7th.
The diaper drive is in memory of one of the department’s finest, Janna Wood, who was a Crime Prevention Specialist and Social Media Guru for the police department. Janna and her unborn baby passed away of complications from Deep Vein Thrombosis in February, 2017, and the drive has continued ever since her untimely passing as a way to honor their beloved co-worker. It is the 9th annual diaper drive to be held in Janna’s honor.
Items needed include:
Diapers (opened or unopened boxes)
Wipes
Creams
Feel free to drop of any amount of the above items. Donations can be dropped off thru Friday, February 7th from 8:00a.m. - 4:30p.m. at the Shakopee Police Department, located at 475 Gorman Street in Shakopee, MN.
Items can also be dropped off after hours in the entryway.
This drive will benefit the Shakopee Community Assistance Diaper Bank, which provides diapers to families in need.
