The Jordan Hubmen basketball team finished the regular season with a 15-11 record. The month of February was a struggle, as the Hubmen won four games and lost six. Last week, they lost to Delano 73-66 and Holy Family 67-51.
Delano 73, Jordan 66
On Tuesday, Jordan welcomed the Delano Tigers for a Wright County Conference matchup. Jordan jumped out to a 20-10 lead, with Noah Robinson scoring 11 points. Delano went on a 23-16 run to cut the Jordan lead to three, 36-33, with a minute left in the half. Jordan took a 37-36 lead into halftime.
The second half was close throughout. The game was tied at 40 and again at 55. Delano went on a 12-5 run to go ahead 67-60. Jordan countered with a basket by Mitchell Schmidt to cut the lead to five. On the next play, Jacob Conrady grabbed the rebound and went the length of the court to get Jordan within 67-64 with 1:30 to play. Delano was able to score off the Jordan press and converted their free throws to win 73-66.

Holy Family 67, Jordan 51
On Friday night, Jordan traveled to Victoria to play conference rival Holy Family. The Fire were looking for revenge, as three weeks prior, the Hubmen had beaten them 66-59. In the first half, Jacob Conrady connected on two three-pointers to lead Jordan 12-8. Holy Family countered with a 7-0 run to take the lead, 15-12. Brayden Davis scored back-to-back three-pointers for Jordan to regain the lead, 18-15. Both teams traded baskets, and the Hubmen found themselves down one at the half, 26-25.
In the second half, Jordan took the lead, 29-28, on a three-pointer by Mitchell Schmidt. That would be the last time the Hubmen led in the game. Holy Family went on to outscore Jordan 39-22 in the second half to win 67-51. Statistically speaking, both teams struggled with shooting. Holy Family made 39% of their shots, while Jordan made 29%. Holy Family had 49 rebounds compared to Jordan’s 37.
