On Tuesday night, Jordan welcomed the Eagle Ridge Academy Gryphons to town. The game remained close throughout until the Hubmen outscored the Gryphons by nine points in the final three minutes. Jordan defeated Eagle Ridge Academy 74-62. The Hubmen ended the week with a heartbreaking 77-76 overtime loss to Wright County Conference rival Mound Westonka.
Jordan 74, Eagle Ridge Academy 62
The first half was a back-and-forth battle, with neither team leading by more than five points. Jacob Conrady got Jordan on the board with a baseline three-pointer. With the game tied at 6, Eagle Ridge went on an 8-3 run to take a 14-9 lead. Jordan fought back with three-point baskets by Jacob Conrady and Mitchell Schmidt to regain the lead, 18-17. Both teams exchanged baskets, and the Hubmen went into the locker room at halftime up 31-29.
The second half followed a similar pattern. The Gryphons regained the lead, 40-37, only to watch the Hubmen tie the game at 41. Eagle Ridge held the lead one last time at 50-49. With Jordan ahead 59-56 in the final three minutes, the Hubmen set out on an offensive flurry. Graham Helgerson secured an offensive rebound and scored on the putback. Mitchell Schmidt tipped in a missed shot. Ari Langheim connected on a baseline three to extend the Hubmen's lead to six. Graham Helgerson broke through the Gryphons’ press to set up Ari Langheim for a layup. Mitchell Schmidt scored off an offensive rebound. The Hubmen outscored Eagle Ridge by nine points to lead 70-60. Lexyn Grof secured the 74-62 win by making all his free throws.

Mound Westonka 77, Jordan 76 (OT)
On Friday night, two evenly matched teams squared off. Both teams shared the same record, 15-8, and were 3-2 in the Wright County Conference - East. Noah Robinson was on fire, scoring eight of Jordan’s first 12 points. Lexyn Grof connected on a three to give the Hubmen a 15-6 lead. Mound Westonka came to life and tied the game at 19. Both teams traded baskets, and Jordan held a one-point lead at halftime, 36-35.
Jordan’s offense started to click in the second half. With the score at 40-39, the Hubmen went on a 16-5 run. Mitchell Schmidt and Brayden Davis both completed three-point plays. Jacob Conrady connected on a three-pointer. Graham Helgerson stole the ball and banked in a floater. Mitchell Schmidt hit a three-pointer from the top of the key. Jordan led 56-44 with five minutes to play.
Mound Westonka regrouped, attacking Jordan’s 1-3-1 zone and cutting the lead to one, 68-67, with a minute left. With 3.7 seconds on the clock and the game tied at 70, the White Hawks missed two free throws. Jordan’s last-second half-court shot was off the mark.
In overtime, Mound Westonka took a five-point lead, 77-72. With a minute left, Lexyn Grof completed a four-point play by making a three-pointer and the free throw, cutting the lead to 77-76. Jordan was forced to foul to regain possession. Mound Westonka missed two free throws with 4.4 seconds remaining. The Hubmen’s 25-foot shot at the buzzer bounced off the back iron, and Mound Westonka escaped with a 77-76 overtime win.
